One of the best ways to grow as a REALTOR® while giving back to our profession is by serving on an Arkansas REALTORS® Association committee. Whether you’re looking to build leadership skills, expand your network, or simply become more involved, committee service offers opportunities to make a real impact.

Committees help shape the programs, resources, and advocacy efforts that benefit REALTORS® across Arkansas. No matter your interests – education, communications, advocacy, forms, or another area – there’s likely a committee where your experience and perspective can make a difference. Along the way, you’ll connect with REALTORS® from across the state, learn from experienced leaders, and build relationships that can last throughout the year.

Most committees meet at least three times each year during the Arkansas REALTORS® Association’s major meetings: Winter Meetings, Summer Meetings, and the Annual Convention in the fall. Some committees hold additional trainings or meetings (in-person or virtual), as required or needed to conduct the committee’s business.

How to Apply – Deadline is September 30th

Applying is easy:

  1. Complete the application at bit.ly/ARACommittee27 (case sensitive)
  2. Email your completed application to questions@ArkansasREALTORS.com.
  3. Committee appointments are made later in the year, and applicants will be notified once selections are made.

Already Serving?

Before applying for new committees, check your current committee term(s). Some appointments are made for one year while others are three years, so you only need to reapply when your term expires.

To view your current committee service:

  1. Log into the ARA Portal: bit.ly/ARAportal (case sensitive)
  2. Click Committees – My Committees to see your current and past terms

Serving on an ARA committee has been one of the most rewarding parts of my REALTOR® journey. I’ve learned from incredible leaders, built meaningful friendships, and had the opportunity to help shape our profession. Every committee benefits from members which have different backgrounds and ideas, and that’s what makes our association stronger.

If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved, I encourage you to apply. Your voice matters, your experience is valuable, and your willingness to serve can make a lasting difference for REALTORS® across Arkansas.
