Step 1: Join RRC
To start your journey, become a member of the Residential Real Estate Council. www.crs.com
Step 2: Choose Your Path
There are multiple paths to earning your CRS designation based on your experience level.
- PRO Program: Designed for seasoned agents with10+ years in the industry with a proven transaction history
- Traditional Route: Ideal for newer agents who are working toward the required production volume while gaining valuable education
- Manager’s Path: For supervisors and brokerage leaders looking to enhance their expertise in agent development and office management
Step 3: Complete Your Education
CRS designees must meet specific education requirements.
- PRO Plan: 16 hours of CRS approved courses
- Traditional Route: 30 hours of CRS approved courses
Courses are available in multiple formats to fit your schedule. This includes online and self-paced courses through the RRC portal, live Zoom classes, and in-person training for those who love to travel and network.
Step 4: Submit Your Application
Once you have completed your coursework and met the requirements, it’s time to submit your CRS application at www.crs.com Your broker will need to sign off on your experience, and then your application will be reviewed for approval.
